Toxxulia Forest
Where/What to Hunt
Level 1-4
Starting off as a new character that isn't twinked, you can level up from level 1-4 just outside of the city gates. Make sure to use your practices a little early on for spells/skills you will use a lot to help boost early leveling (some people like to do Sense Heading at least 1 point to help level it up quickly). It is recommended to kill every decaying skeleton and kobold runt you see as they can drop weapons and cloth armor (Rusty Axe, Rusty Rapier, and Rusty Dagger aren't really worth grabbing). Additional dropped weapons, cloth armor, and skunk glands are a good early way to make some money for your spells, bags, and additional armor. Pet classes should save the 2H weapons as they can be given to your pet to boost damage dramatically. Save bone chips as you can sell them for a decent amount to Necromancer and Shadow Knight players. Backpacks and other containers can be bought at the building just outside of the city gates to the right (facing outward). Erudites start with a pretty low Strength, so don't get too many bags or you will become encumbered easily.
Level 4-8
After you get to level 4 you can venture out further south across the water (watch out for piranhas) to some higher-level enemies. There are also a lot of aggressive enemies over here, so stick close to the water, walls, or bridge to avoid getting swarmed. Pet classes can solo the kobold camps out here, especially with a 2H weapon on your pet, but other classes may have trouble breaking the camp. Make sure to kill the kobold shaman first. Kobolds like to drop weapons, so be prepared to get encumbered easily. There are nearby vendors at the Druid circle and the necro hut (#5-6 on map) across the river. Any Erudite can sell at the Druid ring, but only Necromancers and Shadow Knights can sell inside of the building. The Druid ring has the advantage of people frequently selling lower-tier gems at it, which you can buy to eat up your high amounts of copper and silver gathered to reduce weight. The eastern wall camp is safer than the central camp but has fewer wanderers to kill in between camp spawns. Experience with kobolds seems to be decent until about level 7-8.
Level 8-12
Kerra Island or more likely leave for another continent. If you do manage to get to 12 before leaving Odus, Erud's Crossing has a decent amount of willowisp spawns and are good for farming lightstones to sell for money.
If The Warrens has been released, those brave enough can start making their way into the the twisting network of tunnels that the kobolds of the region call home. Making your way to Paineel (good aligned players need to dodge the guards), you can start hunting at the entrance. Do note that getting multiple spawns is commonplace and large trains to the zone line are not uncommon. Be on the lookout for Kobold Molars as these are used for a quest turn in in both Paineel and Erudin. The faction gain from killing kobolds here is positive for good and evil sides of Erudites. They also drop Soft Wicker Armor and Dusty Burlap Armor to fill out you empty armor slots with some base level gear.
Level 12-16
You can choose to continue to level in The Warrens if the zone has been released. Just go a bit further in, but be careful because the further in you go the more pathers there are. Fleeing kobolds can lead to a huge train that runs you over. If the chaos of extra mobs causes too much trouble in this zone, you may want to head off to another continent to continue your leveling.
Level 16+
If you are determined to continue leveling on Odus, you can continue to grind in Stonebrunt Mountains if the zone has been released for your server. The zone is massive and you can get pathing adds on occasion, but generally has tons of mobs to choose from. Realistically, this would taper off towards mid 20s or 30, but you could push it even further if you wanted to. Basically, start off killing near the zone line to The Warrens and work your way north to higher level mobs.
Dangers
- It will get VERY dark at night time, even gamma/brightness settings can't completely save you. I would recommend buying a torch, candle, etc to have on you at all times. Magicians can use Summon Wisp.
- Poachers will roam about fairly close to the city entrance. They are aggressive and level 3-4.
- It's easy to get lost in here because a lot of things looks the same in this zone, especially at night. Level up Sense Heading and go North to the town if you're lost or keep an eye on the map regularly.
Quest Shopping List
(Blue & Green) All of these quests provide minimal experience but have okay rewards for a brand new person to the server.
- (All classes) Mining Caps - Turn in 1 Useless Cloth Cap at a time that drops off of a kobold scout. Turn-in area is the tunnel where Paineel will end up being at the far south of Toxxulia Forest. Decent dagger/shield rewards.

- (Quellious Deity) Poacher's Head Quest (Erudin) - Turn in 1 Poacher's Head at a time that drops off any poacher in Toxxulia Forest. Turn-in area is just inside of the Temple of Divine Light in Erudin. *if you're not Quellious Deity you can turn these heads into Surefall Glade which provides a much better reward of a guaranteed bow that vendors for just under 2pp
- Kobold Molars (Good) - Just in the courtyard of the Temple of Deepwater Knights, turn in any Kobold Molars that you have for experience and a possible chance at ring mail armor.
- Kobold Shaman Artifacts (Good Aligned) - A follow up quest after the Kobold Molars, you will need to turn in Kobold Shaman's Pouch and a Diviner's Bowl to Breya Nostulia inside the Temple of Deepwater Knights.
