This quest is given by Guard Valon at the toll booth in the Commonlands. You must have atleast Indifferent faction with the Freeport Militia in order to receive it.
The Orc Picks quest (also given by Valon) is the prerequisite for the Cutthroat Rings quest.
After handing in 4 Orc Pawn Pick...
- Guard Valon Says, 'You have done well. Keep up the good work and we may trust you to [hunt dervish cutthroats] which in turn will allow you to join the Reserve Freeport Militia.
You Say, 'I want to hunt dervish cutthroats'
You'll receive an 8-slot container called Bag for Cutthroat Rings.
Cutthroat Insignia Rings are dropped pretty commonly from dervish cutthroats located in the West Commonlands and North and South Ro.
Combine them in the container and turn in the result to Guard Valon.
- Your faction standing with Coalition of Tradefolk Underground has gotten better.
- Your faction standing with Freeport Militia has gotten better.
- Your faction standing with Knights of Truth has gotten worse.
- Your faction standing with Priests of Marr has gotten worse.
You also receive a Militia Armory Token for use in the Reserve Militia quest.
