Don't get sucked in Amax! --Ravhin 14:18, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Categories

You just add [[Category: NameOfCategory]] to any page you want to be in that category. Then it will show up on the bottom of that page. If the "category page" doesn't exist yet it will be in red. You can click on it and add a short description of what the category contains then the "category link" will be blue and lead to that page with your description and a list of all pages in the category.

There is a list of templates here Special:MostLinkedTemplates - probably no real need for a category.

Making Armor Class / stat pages etc

I'd say go ahead and make the pages because having them is better than not..

can always sort out formatting or other concerns later. Most important thing is to put the info out there imo. Jado818 23:14, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Item Notes

Hey, do you think that any notes accompanying an item should be above the stats box (like you did on An Oaken Scimitar)? Or, is the notes parameter field just too hard to use/find? --Ravhin 05:07, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Rav, I couldn't find a way to put notes BENEATH items. I just need the template on how to do this. Maximum 21:23, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
There is a "|notes = <blank>" spot, you can put anything there and it will appear just under the box. --Ravhin 20:27, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Made Admin

Hey, I made you an admin. You can move/delete pages, I think that might be about all that is useful? --Ravhin 16:00, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks! Maximum 21:24, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Discussion Page

It'd also be nice if there was a spot to discuss updates to the wiki.. one on one discussion doesn't really help build consensus. Jado818 21:24, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

I know Wikinews has a Water Cooler. Maximum 19:37, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
Just a note: I was hoping Help talk: Contents would be this. --Ravhin 22:01, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Movement Speed

Before Luclin's Alternate Advancement, running speed was on everyone's mind. It was an obsession… Do trolls run slower, do gnomes run faster? Is a shaman SoW better than a druid SoW? Here is the hierarchy for Classic:

   64-65% Selo's Accelerating Chorus spell, from a 49+ Bard
55% Spirit of Wolf spell, from a Level 50 caster
   >35% Spirit of Wolf spell, from a Level 12+ caster
   35% JourneymanBoots spell, from JBoots
34% Blood of the Wolf potion
34% Spirit of Wolf spell, from a Level 9 Shaman
20% Selo's Accelerando song (self only)
10% Selo's Rhythm of Speed song, from a Level 25 Bard
   Normal (greater than 75 Agility)

Light Sources and Vision

What vision is best? What light source? Ultravision > Serpent Sight > Infravision (or Deadeye spell) > Greater Lightstone > Torch > Fire Beetle Eye > Normal HUM, BAR, ERU, DWF vision Money and Weight

Mass/coin

20.9 copper = 1 stone* 20.9 silver = 1 stone 20.9 gold = 1 stone 20.9 platinum = 1 stone

  • stone is a generic term for a unit of mass

So, if you have 200 platinum pieces (naked), you have 10 stones of extra money weight…

How long is a Tick?

1 tick = 6 seconds

More Item Linking

I think linking Haste % is a good idea. Also I fixed it so that links inside the dark "item box" are automatically a different color so that they can be seen - no need for that "itemeff" span thing anymore. I'll run a script to remove it from all the places I put it in. Also I'll link the SLOT and maybe CLASSES (when not All) to their equipment pages. --Ravhin 22:01, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

cal respawn times

Hey, just to confirm these are right, respawn for Ragefire is 0-72 hours (random) and Yael is 3 days (fixed?). --Ravhin 22:21, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Hey mon! Yes, Yael is 3 days. Zordak Ragefire is 0-72 hours after Naggy (I believe). If Naggy spawns, then the human version despawns, so it's kind of complicated. Also: Venril Sathir is 6 days (as of April 2011). Maximum 01:43, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Oops I meant VS is 7-day with variance.[1]
also: Trakanon is 3-day!. Maximum 21:59, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

lst/oven

You can edit at Oven, that just means to include another page inside the current page. --Ravhin 01:26, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

TY. Maximum 16:21, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Magelo

Hey, can you make a test Magelo profile here: Magelo Blue? Anything not make sense / any suggestions? Thanks! --Ravhin 20:09, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Can you upgrade me to admin?

Hey man don't know who to ask but since Ravhin's page says he is in active now I checked out who is an admin and active and found you. I wanted to edit the http://wiki.project1999.com/Special:DynamicZoneList/Dreadlands to add in Dvolvarg Snarlers to the table of npcs in the dreadlands. But seems I dont have powers to do that. If you don't think I deserve or can be trusted just go a head yourself and add http://wiki.project1999.com/A_drolvarg_snarler to that page. Thanks either way. --Sivax (talk) 03:38, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

I'm not an admin. Don't know who is. Maximum (talk) 18:16, 21 February 2015 (UTC)

Timorous Deep DynamicZoneList

Hey I know this is may not be the best place to talk about this but you seem quite active and hopefully can mend it or pass it along to someone who can.

What's in zone for Timorous Deep is not showing properly.

--Baler (talk) 14:10, 12 March 2017 (UTC)

I looked and I don't have edit access. I'll look around, but I would post it in Bug forums or hit up User:Ravhin's talk page. Maximum (talk) 15:33, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Wanted Pages

Do you know if there is a way to search by which pages have the most red links? I have been using Special:WantedPages but I was hoping for a search that tells me which pages link to the most wanted pages so that I could easily identify those pages. Zosymandias (talk) 16:33, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Nah, WantedPages is what I know. I glanced at Special:SpecialPages but didn't see anything else. Maximum (talk) 22:16, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Technical Category

Great wiki work! I just wanted to point out one minor detail though: the technical category is for "articles regarding EverQuest from a technical standpoint--client programming, etc." ... on other words, technical in the "technology" sense, not in the "detailed" sense. Thus, that category doesn't belong on rules pages. --Loramin (talk) 16:01, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

My intention was to create a new category, and split up Category:Technical into different things. Feel free to do it. Maximum (talk) 22:53, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

Hey

Just kicking around, check up on things every few months. Might have to check out green though! --Ravhin (talk) 18:28, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
