Bard Spell/Song Listing

I've added Instrument and Location information to the listing, so you don't have to hunt through the giant listing of spells to know if something is available in your city/where you can get to. It looks a little cluttered, but I'm not familiar enough with this wiki to try and stuff it into a table.

Let me know if you'd prefer the old style, and I won't convert any more over.

Update: Figured out tables. How's this look?

Level Song Instrument Availability
1 Chant of Battle Percussion (Optional)* Qeynos, Freeport, Kelethin
A simple tune that increases the strength, dexterity, and armor class of group members.
2 Chords of Dissonance String (Optional)* Qeynos, Freeport, Kelethin
Clashing notes that cause between 2 and 23 damage and lower the armor class of any nearby creature.

Added the Bard Song Chart with location, description, and instrument information.

The chart that was added shows spells not currently in game, and does not display their location or instrument. Do we want to edit or add to the new chart?

For consistency let's keep the same visual look for the spell/song table as the other classes (thanks Nysus). But feel free to change the content since bard songs are unique, i.e. add a column for instrument. We should keep spells that aren't yet in game but will exist in the future on p1999. We can gray them out for now (see demo).

Digging through the new table code, I'll work on getting the instruments column added sometime soon, if no one beats me to it. I colored the previous table to match the image of the starting stats (which was here when I started), I didn't realize that wasn't the proper template. My bad!

That took quite a bit of tweaking, I'll see if there's an easier way replace the values, if it looks good to you guys.

Updated the table with spell location & instrument information. I dimmed out the Kunark/Velious spells as requested. I'll change the Skills table over to this color set and format when I get a chance, if no one beats me to it.

The "Pick Lock" skill is listed at level 40, but I was able to train this skill at a much lower level.

The "Sense Trap" skill appears to be capped at 54, not 75 on the project 1999 server.

"Kelin's Lucid Lullaby" is listed as "AE Enthrall", but on Project 1999 it is currently a single target mesmerize.

I was able to train Pick Lock at level 10 and it maxed out at 75 for me, at level 26.

--Ezri 10:48, 09 June 2015 I like the format from http://everquest.allakhazam.com where it lists the detailed song buffs, and splits out Target Type. eg.

2 : Increase STR by 5 (L1) to 21 (L65)

--Ezri 10:30, 12 June 2015 The consensus on the forums is do it! and so it is. http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=197558 --Ezri (talk) 18:03, 14 July 2015 (UTC) Problems with the gear section saving
I've tried numerous things:

  1. Created page-by-page gear section http://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Gear
  2. Removed mouse-hover on the item links

It just refuses to save with the full gear list

--Ezri (talk) 18:09, 26 July 2015 (UTC) I spilt the page up using a nav box - it's not pretty and some people will hate it - but at least we'll be able to edit the content and have it save on us! The reason I changed this is that I wanted to add one paragraph to the FAQ and save failed; hence the redesign.

--Baler (talk) 07:53, 18 May 2016 (UTC) I thought this could be useful to someone when comparing starting stats with no bonus stats applied.
