Description
There are two different versions of Slansin. Slansin as a merchant with default appearance. The other has a surname, and a pet [Slanshin Denvin] see the quest [Inert Potion] for details.
He is only level 10 and squishy so be careful not to kill him with some kind of double attack riposte with your (server first) reaver or something. Hypothetically.
Fortunately every faction lowered by killing Red robe Slansin are the exact same ones raised by the quest, so with a bit more clicking you can 'fix' your mistake.
He can take a long time to spawn, the best stratergy is to use a new lowbie enchanter alt to hand in the potion and depop the real slansin with the crappy faction hits, each time you do the quest dialogue with Toresian there is a chance to spawn either one.
Theoretically you could lose enough faction spawning the wrong slansin so many times that you eventually don't have the faction to do the quest any more.
