- McNeal Jocub says 'Good ta see ya! Now start showin' these poodlewalkers how a real fish drinks!'
You say, 'Running low on what?'
- McNeal Jocub says 'This is going to sound crazy, but my main supplier of [Blackburrow Stout] is one of the brewers themselves. I have run too low on the fine brew and need someone to [pick up my shipment].'
You say, 'What is Blackburrow Stout?'
- McNeal Jocub says 'Keep it down!! So you've heard of Blackburrow Stout? We sell it here in Fish's Backroom. If the Qeynos Guards knew, well.. it wouldn't be such a good thing. The stout is illegal. It's made by the gnolls. It is one of the finest brews you will ever taste. If you want any.. slide me a [moonstone].'
You say, 'What is a moonstone?'
- McNeal Jocub says 'Looking for moonstones, are we? The only way I know of getting a moonstone is to hunt gnolls for Captain Tillin of the Qeynos Guards.'

Give him a Gnoll Fang, dropped by various gnolls.
Captain Tillin says 'Very good! One less gnoll the people of Qeynos need to fear. Here is your bounty as promised.'

12 Halfling cleric 20 fangs gave 51% of a level.
12 Wood Elf Druid, 80 fangs gave 176% of a level (avg 2.2%/fang, Green Server, 6/2/21).
15 Barbarian Rogue turned in 12 fangs and got 1 yellow exp. (Green server, 4/20/20)
17 half elf bard 26 fangs gave 31% xp.
18 half elf bard 17 fangs gave 18% xp.

You receive a Moonstone. Give to McNeal Jocub in the Fish's Ale. You can hand him up to FOUR Moonstones at a time.
- McNeal Jocub says 'Here you go then. Don't go tellin' no Guards where that came from. I would hate to rid myself of a good paying customer.'

Note: Moonstones can be purchased from some vendors for around 8s. The Blackburrow Stout from this quest sells to vendors for 7.6s.. ...
This gives negligible EXP: 3% for 20 moonstones at level 12.
You receive Black Burrow Stout.
Large Quantity Turn-Ins (both fangs & moonstones combined)
7/29/2020 on Green - 88 fangs, and the moonstone turn ins afterwards, got me from freshly level 9 all the way to 4% away from 12.
10/10/2020 on Blue - 99 fangs and all moonstone turn ins on level 43 (Iksar Monk - Faction Questing) went from 54% of my level to 65%. (*Note: Please be kind if you decide to do this. Let lowbies level if they are present.)
3/18/2020 on Green - Turned in 102 Fangs ( and all moonstones ) in Qeynos, went from 2% exp to approx. 91% on a 19 human necromancer.
7/24/2023 on Blue - 80 fangs and all moonstones turned a Gnome Rogue level 10 and 1% to level 12 and 61%. Would have been better overall experience if I hadn't accidentally auto-attacked the turn in guard and gotten whacked.
