Wynstone's Quad Kiting Guide

How you level to 12 is not important. You can use Bone Chips quest in Kaladim too. I suggest you get into some clinches and fights in the early levels to skill up your melee skills.

Some gear and build recommendation first: MANA, INT, HP is what you care about. Get alot of HP/MANA jewelry, focus on building MANA as high as possible. Get a pair of Jboots, or atleast buy SoW pots. Solist's Icy Wand is also very nice to finish of stragglers. Staff of Temperate Flux at level 20, get this as its your bread and butter staff. Its a quest you can MQ easy with another one of your characters fex. Use this to pull. Before you get the flux staff I suggest just using shurikens like a ninja.

To start off, have Jboots or SoW(Dont need SoW for Karana Beetles), levitate is also nice. Memorize your Pillar spell to spellgem 1(THIS IS IMPORTANT!). The trick is, you just tag 4 mobs, you want these to be of a WARRIOR type. You run around in a circle so you have them stacked on top of each other, then you hit em up with your Snare spell Bonds of Force(we start off not using any snare). Immediately click a GCD item, such a Jboots, Gobby Earring or the much more annoying Spy Glass. This way your spell memmed to GEM 1 will refresh(Use Flux Staff for GCD instead when u get it). You always use your best Pillar line of spell. Cast it! Run(Remember to STRAFE RUN) and GCD, Cast again! Easy as that.

Level 12:

I did Pincer Beetles(L10-11) in North Karanas, then

Borer Beetles(L14-16) (I had alot of mana so usually grabbed 8 or 12 or more and more pincers/borers) The Beatles are slow! River beach.

Level 16:

A Gnoll Reaver(L14-16) or An Undead Reaver(L15-17) in the southwest of East Karana. Which type is up depends on if it's day or night.

Level 20:

The Scythe Beetles(L19) in North Karana are few and far between so not optimal, at that time I moved over to;

Crag spiders(L18-22) in East Karana, run to max distance then cast your quad as these spiders are alot faster then beetles. A breeze of the mind can happen at the cliff path. River beach.

At lvl 20 You should get the Tflux staff. Also known as Staff of Temptation Flux. As youre quad kiting full speed, run(strafing saves time and can save ur life if ur cutting it short) and use Fluxorstaff to check if theyre out of casting reach, if so stop and start casting quad spell. Always use ur top notchest quad spell.

Level 25:

Skulking Brutes(L22-25) in Warsliks Woods, these guys are not social. Just round up four of these oafs and quad em down outside of the cave, just keep an eye out for the wandering giant. Semi Beach in zone.

Woolly Mammoths(L22-25) in Everfrost, these guys are great if you play during non-prime-timè, you just gotta learn where they spawn to pull quickly. Tainted Mammon immediately spawns a Corrupted upon death so remember that. Sell tusks for 12p pr or something, but they weigh a ton and are GIANTS. Bind right next to the Barb Vendor. Cold as hell. No beach of course.

At level 29 you get bonds of force! Once snared quadding goes alot faster, get em snared, run alittle bit and cast ur pillar, run a few steps and refresh cooldown timer of pillar in slot 1 with the flux staff, nuke , repeat. I like hitting all mobs with Flux staff first just to lower their Fire/Ice resists. Btw, you dont have to use snare if you are lacking mana, as long as you can outrun em.

Level 30:

Pirates(L24-30) and Drolvarg Savages(L26) in Firiona Vie, get 4 of one type. Great Spot to be at, cliffhangout with pals. Save the Canines! Most these drovags are actually toothless gimps with a hunch. Watch out for ADDS and butterflies trying to gangbang your quad. Kinda beach feeling, but ugly spider amalgamites running around tanning. Cliff is the boss.

Tesch Mas Gnolls(L27-30) in South Karana, easy quad outside Paw, loot scrolls and gate to South Qeynos for lots of exp, then port back to NK and run back, superb spot when not much people online! Chance to get a Quillmane flyby once inawhile too! Hurry before whoever spawns these shows up and nuke it dead(I got my Levi cloak this way)! These outdoor mobs are all FTE so watch out for poachers coming in for the gnolls. Folks are hungry for the scrolls so this was the most cuttroath of all lvl'ing spots. Luckily wizard's got the Fluor staff for the WIN. Gnolls can drop FS weapons. No beach. Ocean yes but thats not a beach.

Optional:

Wood Elf Rangers(L25) in Lesser Faydark.

Tizmak Warriors(L25) in Great Divide.

Level 35:

Drolvarg Growlers(L29-33) in Firiona Vie or

Tundra Yetis(L30-35) in Dreadlands. Yetis are easy but the snowy landscape is boring to me, same goes for

Snow Dervishes(L30) in Iceclad, close to ToFS, also barren snowland. Snow Cougars here as well.

I preferred the Growlers. Canines can be turned in 4 at the time to Captain Nealith at the Outpost for some respectable experience! I turned in all my teeth to this guy during hell-level and server exp bonus, kaching!

Optional:

Butcherblock: Crazed Goblins. Only 3 spawns

Frontier Mountains: Goblins(raider, whipcracker), Brutes(gorging, ravenous), Sarnak(dragoon, berzerker, legonniare), Mountain giants (hillocks, tumps)

The Overthere: Thorny succulants, Stoneleer cockatrices, Sarnak berzerkers ,Rhinos, Tigers

Level 40:

Drolvarg Snarlers(L32-36) in Firiona Vie, but my favorite was

Spectres(L36-37) in Oasis or OoT, good plat. Scythes sell for 12p. Specs can be a competative spot too, put your mouth to use, if not use the Fluxomatic. Oasis is just one long beach! Muaah!

Optional:

Eastern Wastes: Ulthorks on NORTH beach. Walrus on SOUTH beach

Dreadlands: Plaguebone Skeletons at the Combine Outpost

The Overthere: Spiked succulants, Stonegazer cockatrices, Sarnak knights

Burning Woods: Ash hornet, Plaguebone skeleton, Tatterback ape

Level 45:

Bloodgills(L35-39) in Lake of Ill Omen, nothing beats these guys. Pull is easy enough to do. Enduring Breath can be nice to have but not a prerequisite. Levitation though is! Pull to closest shore. I was bound on the platform in the middle of the lake, quick access to bloodgills. There are 4 pairs of them on top of veksar, and four in the front(and sometimes the marauder inside) Loot here is abyssmal(well the plat is ok i guess), youll might see a harpoon of the depths now and then thats it. Beach O'hoy!

Optional:

Timorous Deep: Spirocs (Lightfoot, Watcher, Proven)

Finally a friggin new quad spell at lvl 51!

Level 51:

Wyverns(L38-41) in Cobalt Scar. If u have no faction like me(dont pull Yvolcarn, he sees invis and is immune to runspeed changes) just kite em down to the beach(with music on, its sweet down there) and quad em down infront of your othmir friends, they love it. Finally some good loots too, badabing! Suprisingly good beach atmosphere. Just pop up and head right back down to the beach. Oh yeah the small drakes are annoying dont bug them.

Optional:

Timorous Deep: Spirocs (Lightfoot, Watcher, Proven)

Burning Wood: Scoriae hornet, Greater war boned skeleton, Tatterback gorilla

Kelethin: Wood Elf Guards

Level 54:

Raptors(L41-44) and the Vicious Raptors(L43-45) in Timorous Deep. This is a meditative and relaxing spot, if it wasnt for these darn Raptors! The Raptors are fast, so stay on your toes here. Hurry up and tag 4 of em. Have Levitation and Jboots UP at all times. I Liked to run out in the water and do a half circle, theyll follow under water and get clumped together, snare as they hit the land again. This is a great beach and lots of sun, but the raptors are totally broke.

Optional:

Burning Wood: Scoriae hornet, Greater war boned skeleton, Tatterback gorilla

Skyfire: Devourers, Wyverns

Hmm I seem to remember quadding Dwarves in Butcherblock also, the guards. I need to check into this. Hut guards and Dock guards

Level 57:

So this is the like the final laps of your quadding adventure. Finally. Your last camp as a quadder. Maybe youll return here to grab some exp in lvl 60 later on.

A Suit of Sentient Armor(L43-45) that hides in the bushy jungle of the Wakening Lands. A total of 10 suits in two camps here, but its usually a shared spot since its one of the few places to quad to 60. Watch out for the Faun that roams around, he sees Invis and hits like a truck, backstabs too, otherwise its another chill exeperience. The loot here is pretty darn good as well, junk and armor gems, and sentient armor pieces(for SK only). No beach at all here but you can run to PoG ZI and see a lake, vendor here aswell.

Optional:

Dragon necropolis: Phase Spiders. This is pretty cool, but you need to have alot of mana, atleast above 3k, and use SoW at all times. Spiders are fast like the Raptors. Avoid the dragon bone traps at all cost. Run and tag 4, circle and RUUUN to get space, then Snare and start quadding.

Tar Goos and Geonids in Wakening Lands. Tar Goos before level 57 aswell. Geonids you need to clear the shamans.

Ding! Welcome to level 60!
