Thanks to Fruggart

Just a mention to Fruggart for consistently keeping the auction records up to date.

Frug - My pleasure.

Server / P99 firsts are no longer allowed on wiki.project1999.com?

Is this true? Trane has made it his personal vendetta to scour the wiki for any mention of a server or P99 firsts and erase them. From my history on the server (3 years), it has always been a thing to post server firsts including screenshots of items and player(s) attaining said items. Correct me if I am wrong and this is unacceptable, and if so, please be consistant and erase ALL mention of server firsts with screenshots of items from every single item in wiki.project1999.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

This isn't at all what is happening. This user is attempting to add an edit containing the phrase " BOKKE, THE BLUEST BITCHBOY THAT GOT GRIEFED OFF THE SERVER. BAD." to the wiki entry for one of his server firsts. Instead of allowing him to continuously troll this wiki page and specifically call out individuals, I removed the offending edits. I also removed all mentions of his server firsts. I did this because I attempted, on May 5th on this very page, to figure out exactly what was to be done about vandals on this wiki. I never received a response, so I took matters into my own hands. If someone who administrates or moderates this wiki would like to step in here, I would gladly accept whatever judgement is passed down. What I am not going to sit idly by and watch as a user repeatedly harasses another user for essentially no reason whatsoever. --Trane (talk) 21:15, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

Are you on crack? I told you what that was and haven't included it in any one of the server first wiki contribs since maybe March? You're a terrible troll and your misuse of the wikipedia has been noticed. Being upset and handling it the way you are doing just shows your true nature and how ridiculously childish you truly are. Bleedbreakdowns (talk) 23:20, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

Everything you just wrote is an abject lie. You re-added the offending material as recently as your last set of edits. --Trane (talk) 20:08, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

Vandal on the Woven Grass Chestguard Page

Whats the best way to deal with a vandal on this wiki? --Trane (talk) 20:41, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Player List on the Wiki

Can you add a link to the Player List from the main page? --BobSmith 16:40, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Done, and a little style change to Player List. Thanks for getting it together! Too bad all those forum replies (post-abandonment of the original forum thread) aren't included. --Ravhin 18:23, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Ravhin. I went through the forum thread and added all the players from Luclin. That was the server I was on. --BobSmith 18:58, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Rumzuck

Thanks to Ravhin for making some great changes to the p99 wiki! :)

Red99

I added a separate "community" section for red99 - for those things which are completely different than blue99 (e.g. guild lists). Anyone who plays on this server can comment more on what would be useful in terms of the wiki. --Ravhin 19:13, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

New Mainpage Links

Added mainpage link to Amax's Statistics page. Added mainpage link to joddfx's Poker Painting.

Added Non-Classic Compendium (work in progress). Also added link to Special:AuctionTracker. --Ravhin 19:13, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

User Interface Section

I was trying to update my UI the other day, specifically change DuxaUI's hotbar to use inventory slots with clickies instead of the default ranged/ammo slots in the bottom right, and I had to google the inventory slot numbers and names. I would like to add a section to the wiki about the UI files, but I have some hesitation due to:

1) It could get very large, very quickly

2) I do not plan on ever completely developing UI from scratch, so there is tons of information I never plan on learning or being able to add to the wiki.

3) I am not a huge contributor to the wiki, so I am a bit unfamiliar with best-practices when creating this section. Basically, should it be a single long page? Should I split it up into sections? How should I split it up? Etc.

I also feel that should the UI section ever get comprehensive enough, it should be added to the important pages links on either the front page, the sidebar, or both.

TL;DR: A UI section could be amazing, but there is just no way I'll be able to do all of it the way I feel it should/could be done.

How to contribute

Being mostly wiki-illiterate, I'm not sure how best to contribute here. I have done research on the spawn of Quid Rilstone in Rathe Mountains, which is otherwise sparse on the p1999 wiki and I want to share it, but I'm not sure how to put it up. Is this the best place?

Forums Link

Looks like the forums link needs an update to .com from .org. Might be a few others as well that could use the same update. --Brian (talk) 19:36, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Velious Guide

Please add The Missing Velious Guide to the front page somewhere. It's like a one-stop-shop for all things Velious! Good for those of us just getting into the content or the ones who can't remember anything anymore.

City Starting guides

I think it'd be a great idea to have these somewhere on the front page. High visibility for new players and for editors to continue fleshing them out.
