Regarding your Strength at XX Level decisions:
Bards are not at 10 strength at L25. While we are at maximum kiting efficiency, our grouping suffers because we do not have our mana song, single target mez (although the AE mez could be considered OP as all hell), and our haste is vastly inferior to ENC at 25.
Bards are also stronger at 60 than they are at 50. Selo's Travels and a mana song that actually creates a buff are both massive improvements to our tool-kit post-L50.
Regarding Epic selection (easiest to most-difficult): ROG > SHM > CLR > MNK > ENC > PAL > WAR > SHD > DRU > MAG > RNG > NEC > WIZ > BRD

Spear of fate requires no raid mobs and most of it can be skipped.
Water Sprinkler has easier camps than the monk epic and doesn't interfere with raid mobs (except ragefire, who only exists as part of the epic)
Celestial fists is just a crap-ton of farming, no raid mobs involved.
Staff of the Shissar is same as CF, but Verina is only a 7-day spawn.
Fiery Defender requires raid mobs, but there's so few of them that the books rot all the time and they drop from multiple different 7-day spawns.
Blades of Strategy & Tactics requires less-contested raid mobs, Sev and Maestro. And Maestro is a 3-day spawn.
Innoruuk's Curse only requires 1 raid mob, but its a highly contested 7-day spawn.
Nature Walker's Scimitar requires 2 raid spawns, but Fay is arguably an easier dragon than Vox while VS is highly contested.
Orb of Mastery requires Inny and 7th Isle in Sky, and Fay is easier than Isle 7 but Isle 7 is easier than VS.
Swiftwind & Earthcaller require VS and Inny, both highly contested 7-day spawns.
The Scythe requires rare drops from two highly contested 7-day spawns, Inny & CT.
Staff of the Four requires rare drops from two highly contested 7-day spawns, VS & CT.
The Singing Short Sword requires a rare drop from the MOST contested raid spawn on this server, even though its a 3-day spawn, Trak. It is also the ONLY epic to require three raid targets, although the scales are much less contested.
