I'm positive that the original guide for this quest said you needed amiable with Clurg, but I don't see any references to that anymore. The only references to faction now are about being KOS. Is amiable not a requirement, or not on P99?
Update: I burned a book just to be sure of it, and Clurg did in fact eat it with apprehensive faction, saying, "You are brave. An enemy are you of Oggok. Leave while you still can." No stein, no exp, he keeps the book. I have not tested indiff, but I think it's safe to say the requirement is still amiable. Littlewind (talk) 17:32, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
I an personally attest that giving Gregor one item at a time WORKS. I haven't risked giving all four items at the same time - can anyone confirm that giving all four at the same time is bugged?
Revamped the Dark Elf guide since it can be done with an agnostic level 4 enchanter. Also added more instructions on how to do it solo (no friend to help you). In answer to the above, I've done this 4 or 5 times and always handed the items in all at once with no problem (as of April 2020, which was the last time I tried)Sabin76 (talk)

You can also buy this in Erudin, opposite to the Library where the tonic girl is. So after you get the honey yum it is easier to gate back, go to tunnel and get a port to Toxx, and pick up your tonic then boat to qeynos for the fish. Saves quite a bit of time because you don't have to cross the Karana's
