(Last 20 Recorded Auctions)

Surrounds your target in dancing flames, lowering their fire resistance and armor class. This spell generates a large amount of hate.
Note: Didn't have a Fire (-200) resist modifier until 2002 because the "Resistadj" value wasn't created until then,[1] although the same patch that added Fire (-200) to Ro's Fiery Sundering also removed the pre-existing line "Slot 1: Lure(6)", implying that the spell was already abnormally hard to resist before the update that introduced the "Resistadj" value to the spell system. Prior to 2002, spells didn't have an entry for "Resistadj", with more difficult spells simply being given a "Lure" designation with some numerical value indicating how lure-y they were.
In Lucy, the line reporting that the Resistadj value was changed from 0 to -200 was simply an indicator that the value was first created in the system.
For context, Lure of Flame was marked as "Slot 1: Lure(5)" before the same patch on 2002-9-04 that updated Ro's Fiery Sundering to Fire (-200). The same patch in 2002 that removed "Slot 1: Lure(5)" from Lure of Flame also changed the Resistadj value from 0 to -300 for Lure of Flame, as well. Clearly, Lure of Flame did not actually have a Resistadj value of 0 before this patch; rather, the Resistadj value did not exist at all, and instead, stating that it was changed from 0 to -300 was Lucy's way of indicating that this new, unified Resistadj system had been added to replace the prior "Lure" designation that certain spells had. This was one part of several reworkings of the spell resist system that the old EQ devs had implemented over time. [2]
The exact nature of the resist system is one of the unsolved mysteries of p99, but it's safe to conclude that the original EQ devs had decided that "Fire (-200)" was the equivalent to "Lure(6)", which was the designation that Ro's Fiery Sundering had originally had when it was first released, just as "Fire (-300)" was the equivalent to "Lure(5)" for Lure of Flame. Since p99 uses the later Fire (x) notation, Fire (-200) should be the correct value for Ro's Fiery Sundering.
