The Hunting Spot
The "Neriak Arena" hunting spot is is #15 on the map of the foreign quarter to the left.
The XP here is a little slower than some alternatives, but as a result (and because of it's unique location) this spot is far more likely to be available. Also, killing here will hurt your Neriak Queen factions (Queen Cristanos Thex and The Dead) although it will help your Neriak King factions (Eldritch Collective, Keepers of the Art, King Naythox Thex, Primordial Malice).
Where/What to Fight
Go in the right side of the arena, go halfway up the stairs and fight there. There's a mob in the room at the top of the stairs. Kill that one first. At 58 you should be able to single pull from the two guards nearest to you in the arena. Drag them to the fight spot and stay out of line of sight of the door above you while you kill them so you won't aggro the first mob when she respawns. Deal with fleeing mobs by rooting or snaring them.
The mobs you'll want to kill include Uglan, Mrak, Karnan, Capee, and Svunsa.
(TODO: get the names of other mobs and replace text, like "the two guards nearest to you" above or "the troll upstairs" below, with specific names)
Soloing vs. Grouping
This spot has just enough spawns to be awesome for two people, and is particularly good for a Monk/Shaman duo.
If you are soloing, you can walk past the bar and melee the ogre just around the right corner at the red arrow. If you smack him and run directly back to the stairwell, you can single pull without aggroing the guard on the opposite side.
Also, don't forget there's always the troll upstairs in the office who can be singled out.
Note for Lower-Level Characters
Because root spells breaks frequently when cast by a level 55 or lower here, it's less ideal for root/rot at lower levels.
