Everquest Tales: The Plague
Kraddok (Michael) and Laura collaborated to create this retelling of the coming of the Plague of Bertoxxulous to the Qeynos area.
Michael's Thoughts
Laura did all the audio for this thing. If you listen closely you will hear that it is beyond anything i have ever done or ever could do. She also came up with the idea and wrote the script. She even edited my voiceover down to what you hear in the video. But ALSO she came up with a lot of the cool visuals and filmed a chunk of the video herself - Here are some off the top of my head:
- 0:05 sped up footage through Antonica
- 0:32 cool shot of qeynos gate mirroring the bloodsaber shot later on
- 0:50 woman running from gnoll
- 1:23 plague rat!
- 1:46 spectre overlooking clock tower
- 1:56 stills of bloodsabers traning
- 2:23 kane bayle
- 2:29 rogue guild ( i didnt even know this place existed )
- 2:37 she played the role of "listener"
- 2:50 the painting idea!!!
- 3:00 created and shot the scene on her private server
- 3:06 came up with transition idea and filmed 2nd half
- 3:18 i didnt even know there was a "rainbringer" guild lol
- 3:21 i think this was my idea but she created it and filmed it

- 3:27 came up with and created and filmed this whole bit, its really cool
- 3:36 we kinda tag teamed this idea but she shot and filmed it

- 3:55 this whole section was a super collab - i didnt even know the blood pillar existed, so laura gets credit for that lol, she also came up with the zooming in of the eyes. She also came up with the whole summoning location and idea, i kinda story boarded it and handed it to Flatts and he made it and shot it.
- 4:30 Laura made spell effects come out of the blood pillar! next level stuff i must say
- 4:43 Laura's idea, to build upon the spectre theme and show it encompassing the whole city
- 4:51 Laura's idea to film the aftermath of the plague rather than the plague itself, she also filmed these shots, ending with the farmers who we saw earlier in the video. brilliant!
- 5:09 Laura played the role of Kraddok in this sequence
- 5:34 she came up with and shot this scene
- 7:13 she shot golden efreeti flatts lol
- 7:40 she made this cool qeynos flag shot ( that i forgot to fade in )
