, use collaboration or similar faction spell on any scorpikis in the area. If you haven't ruined faction with Venril Sathir, you should start pretty close to non-KOS (went from apprehensive to aimiable with collaboration). This will allow you to walk down with no worries, right up to Impaler Tzilug. Once here, make sure you have Gate and Allure memmed and make sure you have SoW or Jboots active. Might also be a good time to get Rune/Berserker Strength up (all I had up was Berserker Strength since I was out of regeants). Get a "trade" (or hand-in) window up for Impaler with the dull emerald in it (can't hand items to pets that are fighting) but DO NOT press "give." Doing so will cause you to lose the gem. Cast charm on him and once he is your pet, quickly finish the "give" and he will hand you the enchanted gem. Run out of the tunnels leaving him behind to fight and gate at your earliest convenience.

This method no longer works (5/14/2020) you can not cast with a trade window open. Simply pacify the 3 closests Guardians and then charm Tzilug.
It totally works, I self invis with trade on all the time, and charmed this guy today with trade open (12/27/2023).
Also, if you're Amiable after faction spell, you can just turn it in without charming, did this today also (12/27/2023).
