Introduction

First, the basic ingredients and recipes. These are your baseline foraged items and are foraged in any zone.

Brewing

Foraged food can get your brewing skill to 168, with a combination of items sold by nearby brewer merchants. Brewer merchants will usually have the bottles, grapes, yeast, wine yeast, shot glasses, short beer, and water flasks necessary for each recipe. Stormguard Root Beer is a good starting point as roots will not have another use in this guide, so while Flasks of Fruit/Berry Juice trivialize at a lower level, the fruits/berries are best saved for higher skilled recipes. The other thing to note is there is a sizable skill gap between Stormguard Root Beer and the next foraged food recipe, White Wine, so to fill the gap Heady Kiola and Fish Wine (fresh fish is usually purchasable by fisherman NPCs) can be used, but isn't necessary. Any booze can be sold back or drank (preferred method) to gain alcohol tolerance skill-ups. Red Wine can be saved for either reputation quests in Freeport or Neriak. Heady Kiola can be saved for tailoring.

Baking

Baking is slightly more trouble and requires more outside ingredients than brewing does, but the items that are not baseline ingredients on baking merchants can be usually found in bulk on other merchants closer to adventuring zones (meat, spider legs, eggs). The pot, pie tin, and smoker are created through pottery or player-sold. A few outlying ingredients for certain baking recipes in this guide are lettuce, fennel, and jum-jum stalk which care all sold in Rivervale.
