This quest begins with Captain Bvellos in Kael Drakkel (roams from the arena to the bank to the palace area). Captain Bvellos is on Kromzek faction.

You say, 'Hail, Captain Bvellos'

Captain Bvellos says 'Greetings, _____. I am the captain of the Kael militia. I will be watching those of your kind who have come to Kael Drakkel as mercenaries and bounty hunters. You may have come here to serve king Tormax but Kael is my home and I intend to keep it a safe place for the Kromzek. Keep yourself out of trouble or you will end up in a world of pain.'

You say, 'I will keep Kael safe.'

Captain Bvellos says 'With the influx of [mercenaries] into Kael Drakkel, I have seen minor crimes increase. I have had to increase my militia patrols. A majority of my militia work longer hours than they did before. There was a time when we only had to watch for the dragons from the sky and the Coldain from the outside. Now we must watch within.'

You say, 'What about mercenaries?'

Captain Bvellos says 'I have several bounties open if you are interested. Bring me the head of a Coldain and I will reward you with a small sum of money and spread the word of your good work. There is also a bounty upon the nefarious Icepaw kobolds who serve the outcast Velketor. I require four of the paws of those little beasts.'

, you receive a few platinum pieces and a substantial faction increase with King Tormax. (Note: An easy way to test your faction standing with King Tormax is to exit the bank and turn hard left. Before you get to the Icy Bridge, stop and con Dlammaz Stormslayer who is across the bridge and to the left.)

Note that although it is possible to charm Bvellos with Dictate, this will not yield you faction adjustments.

Captain Bvellos says, 'Excellent, Throttled. Here is the bounty as promised.'

This quest does not actually yield any experience

It takes about 50 Coldain Head turn-ins to Captain Bvellos to get to dubious with King Tormax from default starting faction as a Rallos Zek Ogre Warrior.

It takes exactly 77 Coldain Heads turned in to Captain Bvellos to get a max KOS character to ally with Kromzek. Still KOS to Kromrif and King Tormax.

It takes about 44 Coldain Heads turned in to Captain Bvellos to get a character with no velious faction hits at all to get to ally with Kromzek. Apprehensive to Kromrif.

It takes 40 (or 41?) Coldain heads turned into Captain Bvellos to get a Rallos Zek ogre with no other velius faction hits at all to get to ally with Kromzek. Still KOS (threateningy) to KT, though. As mentioned above, probably need about 10 more heads to get to dubious.

Took 33 heads to go from Max KOS to Dubious with Kromzek for Rallos Ogre.

Rallos Zek Halfling Warrior: Ally to Kromzek on 43rd Coldain head. Glowers Dubiously to Tormax on the 61st Coldain head. (Also went from Apprehensive to Indifferent Kromrif at 61)

Starting at max KoS to Tormax, It would take approximately 206 heads to go from KoS to Amiable.

Took approx 80 Coldain Heads for a Bristlebane Halfling Rogue to get to non-KOS with Tormax. No other faction gains
